I’ve stared at this article a bit, and I have some hazy thoughts. Don’t take them too seriously or spend too long responding unless you want to.
- EAs are generally young and so haven’t had the time to build big twitter followings - I’m not that surprised that Gates, who has a massive account is the most effective EA adjacent influence - EA doesn’t favour unilateralism , what would this look like if it was about sharing 80k articles or similar - I’m not sure that Musk can be so easily dismissed. I don’t really have a horse, but just because he shitposts doesn’t mean he can’t be aligned - Nate Silver isn’t (to my knowledge) personally aligned but I’d see his content as similar in tone
