From what I understood when talking to CEA staff, this is also thought to replace handing out copies of Doing Good Better, yes? If so, I would emphasise this more explicitly, too.
Doing Good Better is still a useful introduction to EA, and it’s possible to distribute physical copies of the book, so that will sometimes be more useful. The EA Handbook might work better as a more advanced introduction, or in online circumstances (see also some of the other comment threads).
