Currently I believe we have a threshold of 14 karma to post. If you have a post you’d like to submit before you’ve reached that level, you can write to the moderators at forum@effectivealtruism.org and we’ll review the post and give you posting ability if approved.
Good question about whether this will be the same in the new system—we’ll make a decision about that, but the default is to keep the threshold similar.
