What do you consider to be your most impactful work during your time in office? (e.g. a bill you successfully sponsored, a conversation you started)
I’d be interested in hearing a brief story about how you accomplished the aforementioned work. No need to answer all of these in the process, but the questions I’ve thought of are:
Did you choose a relatively new issue, or take up a cause with a lot of history in the legislature?
If the latter, what did you do differently than previous advocates, and/or what circumstances had changed that enabled your impact?
How (if at all) did you win over enough of your opponents to get things done?
