Of the 15 people other than me who commented on the shortform, I only remember ever meeting 4. I would guess that for shortforms in general most of the attention comes from the feed.
There’s still a selection bias even if they don’t know you. People who read your shortform are probably not representative of the EA community. Maybe you only care about engaged, long-time EAs, but significant selection bias still seems probable for that case imo.

I suspect a strong selection bias, since the survey was posted in a comment on your shortform, which would mostly be read by people who know you.
