I am a Senior Researcher at Power for Democracies, a democracy charity evaluator that aims to identify the most effective pro-democracy interventions. I was a Global Priorities Fellow at the University of Oxford’s Global Priorities Institute, as well as at the Forethought Foundation for Global Priorities Research. I served as the Director of Effective Altruism Turkey.
I earned a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Warwick, with my thesis focusing on effective altruism. My research interests include effective altruism, global justice, future generations, the climate crisis, and artificial intelligence.
I was a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Koç University. My postdoctoral projects won grant competitions organised by different EA-aligned institutions.
