My current specific interests include: philosophy of mind, moral weights, person-affecting views, preference-based views and subjectivism, moral uncertainty, decision theory, deep uncertainty/ācluelessness and backfire risks, s-risks, and indirect effects on wild animals.

If weāre still alive, most of the same people will still be alive, and their tastes, habits and values will only have changed so much. Think conservatives, people against alt proteins and others who grew up with McDonaldās. 1000 years is enough time for dramatic shifts in culture and values, but 10 years doesnāt seem to be. I suspect shifts in culture and values are primarily driven by newer generations just growing up to have different values and older generations with older values dying, not people changing their minds.
And radical life extension might make some values and practices persist far longer than they would have otherwise, although Iām not sure how much people whoād still want to eat conventional meat would opt for radical life extension.
