And indeed, half of today’s humans being alive because of fertilizers is wild ! A shame so much of the finite stock of natural gas is used in a wasteful way (food waste, lots of meat consumption...)
This is one of the things where I’m worried about—if there is a big decline in energy production, this would definitely impact food production. I talk about that in this post.
