Thinking of posting a new article that could shed some light on this… It’s hard to use a blanket statement to describe how a corporate policy commitment comes to be. Sympathy and compassion towards animals are certainly among the reasons why a company would commit.
What prompted this change ? I can’t assume it’s out of sympathy for the animal’s disastrous welfare conditions.
