Ryan Carey is the only moderator, and there are maybe only 100 other people using this forum so far, so trying out something new is like a feature request that you can implement yourself. Also, forum norms here seem to be an even nicer version of norms on Less Wrong.
Also, for the record, I too think Dr. Caplan makes a nice point. There’s a Facebook group I shared the link with, called ‘the Economics of Doing Good’. It’s the discussion group for the economics by effective altruists, and it’s drawn a disproportionate number of economics scholars/enthusiasts. There’s some discussion of the link there, so if you’re on Facebook, join the group, and we’ll see you over there!
