That said, I don’t know why “I expect this will end up being part 1 of N, where E(N)≈3 this year.” is phrased like that, instead of something like: ”I will probably write several posts with more ideas later this year.”
I think this is a case of unnecessary jargon—notable mainly because the rest of the post is a model of clarity.

(For what it’s worth, I had in mind this was much more of a ‘dumb nerdy flourish’ than ‘the clearest way to convey this point’)
