I am not too familiar with self-driving cars. But this is an interesting read. I do think the point you made about AGI is fascinating. I have heard people say AI can do x so self-driving cars are around the corner. I think they are vastly underestimating the speed at which we actually make decisions while driving. And mistakes cost lives, unfortunately. I would think if it was as simple as some claim we would have hit it a awhile ago.
