--Experience Poverty Fundraiser--
a global effective altruism fundraiser to alleviate poverty
What we will do: Get sponsored to eat for less than either $1.50/day (the global poverty line) or $2.50/day(what the median person spends on food), for 3 days (you can vary the length of time)
The dates: April 6-8 (you can vary these, but most people in EA groups around the world will be doing it around then)
The charity: The Schistosomiasis Control Initiative (de-worming; helps children in developing countries get healthy so they can do things like go to school)

Nice Discussion. The amazing step taken toward global poverty. My neighbor believes together we can have a great impact in the fight against global poverty. So he always suggests me to have a peek at these guys and join the voyage humanitaire as they’re volunteering trip is a great way of helping others facing problem due to poverty and at the same time to have fun while traveling.
