This comment is probably going to frustrate some people, but it comes from a good place; if you do the hard work in internalising the belief that a self doesn’t exist, then feelings of rejection, shame, guilt, pride, can all go away.
It is absolutely possible to dissolve your small self (i.e. the one that feels all these emotions, the one that you can feel sitting behind your face) and access a bigger, more interconnected, loving and energetic you. One that can’t be hurt or rejected.
