I’ve recently became curious if there is an organization out there that has a certification for meat producers that’d fit under “Ethically raised” label as accepted by an average EA concerned with animal welfare. Having something like that seems like an obvious way to make progress. A cursory search indicates that there is a bunch of organizations that can potentially fit the bill (e.g. https://thingofthings.wordpress.com/2017/02/02/why-be-vegetarian/ has a list of them). What I’m wondering if there is an independent overview of such organizations and their standards out there to verify if they are indeed ethical?
