I am very uncertain, but my best guess is that going vegan is harmful, whereas I estimate buying beef increases animal welfare 3.04 (= ⁴⁰⁸⁄₁₃₄) times as cost-effectively as cage-free campaigns (although there is again lots of uncertainty).
