Been flagging more often lately that decision-relevant conversations work poorly if only A is sayable (including “yes we should have this meeting”) and not-A isn’t.
At the same time I’ve been noticing the skill of saying not-A with grace and consideration, breezily and not with “I know this is going to be unpopular, but...” energy and it’s an extremely useful skill.
