Would you agree that the general fear of the AI is a type of repressed and transferenced inherent fear of God?
EDIT(to add more context):
My thinking was as follows:
Premises:
A) We have an innate fear of things that we do not understand and that are beyond us, because it gave us an evolutionary advantage.
B) We created God to personify this fear and thus have some control over it.
C) We live in times when many people have intellectually denied belief in the supernatural, but the fear remains.
D) A vision of AGI has emerged that has many features in common with the image of God.
Conclusion:
The general fear of Artificial Intelligence is largely a repressed and transferred fear of God
Thanks for your insights. I don’t think that our statements contradict each as the gist of my reasoning is that reasonable arguments may induce unreasonable fears.

I disagree, I believe people’s fear of AGI is mostly a response to reasonable arguments that AGI poses a very real risk to humanity.
