tldr: Hi! Iām JoeyāI use tech to 10x your org.
This is a quick message to say that Iāll be attending EA Connect and EAG Amsterdam these upcoming weekends.

Hiya, Iām Joey.
Too many repetitive tasks? Feel like you could be scaling faster?
Iām launching an offer designed to help give direction to small, high-impact teams.
-> 2x a KPI of your choice in 90 days.
Idea is: I bring a team of talented software engineers to shadow your workflows.
Over the course of 3 months, we build the systems that hum quietly in the background to let you focus on impact.
We could deliver projects along the line of:
-> 10x your social media presence by converting voice notes to branded posts -> 2x grant applications by scraping your favourite newsletters -> cut hiring time 50% by ranking quantitive + handling applicant comms.
why this, why now?
I volunteered as a data consultant with 7 EA orgs this summer, and have chatted with 30+ EA founders in the last month.
I really want to see EA charities succeed and am concerned with how manual some founder work can be.
In the age of intelligent AI, charities should be able to focus on high-leverage work.
But often I see founders in the weeds, sending the same email or checking the same database on repeat.
So Iām pitching this offer to see if I can find charities who would benefit from this kind of automation-first approach to their workflows.
will this work for everyone?
No. In short, no.
If youāre reading this and are thinking, āI donāt get how this could help me.ā -- then this probably isnāt for you.
If youāre reading this thinking āmy stuff is all super manual, this sounds greatāāawesome, Iād love to hear about it.
A question that I think helps work out if you could automate your workflows is āif we get really advanced AI, will my work look really different?ā
My dream projects are for people who do lots of low-leverage stuff right now, and realise that if they had really advanced tools, they could do more work, faster.
If you work in applied maths, or sales, or research, then there might be less stuff to improve.
who am I?
Hereās a little background on my journey so far.
ex-Cambridge Engineer
I run EA Tech London, a 400-person tech community, where I often meet EA-aligned engineers who are looking to contribute more.
Previously worked in operations for David Kruegerās AI Safety Lab
Have signed the 10% giving pledge, am a huge fan of GWWC.
sometimes blog on substack about animal welfare and flourishing
progress so far
Having seen slow, repetitive processes while volunteering in 5+ EA charities this summer I started work on this.
Iāve connected with several EA-aligned software engineers and am working on some proposals and pro-bono projects with them.
Ran a hackathon that FarmKind sponsored, am working on a suite of tools to 10x social media engagement.
Iām meeting and interviewing as many founders as possible to understand their needs.
what else?
Please send me a message if you answer āyesā to any of the following.
Do you have/āknow an org that could really scale faster if you had some low-bono software support?
Would you like some free advice about what off-the-shelf products might help speed up your org?
If youāre at EA Amsterdam, feel free to send me a message. Would be great to here from you
Thanks to all who helped with their conversations over the past few months, and to the EA-aligned software engineers who have offered to help deliver these projects.
