For example, Newton’s law of universal gravitation related the force of attraction between two bodies to the inverse square of their distance.
Not only have you not been clear enough with your language, you have also not supplied evidence for your claims. By evidence, I mean either historical examples about how various unit types were developed, hypotheticals about our ability to distinguish levels of magnitude with our senses, or real-world examples of how we communicate expectations about sensory experience to the lay public.
