As Brad writes here, I think this provides a good response to why EAs shouldn’t (immediately at least) consider leaving the EA movement if something doesn’t feel right. As you point to, there’s probably lots of things that EA is getting wrong, and people leaving the EA community is likely not going to fix those things. Whilst challenging, I think people with disillusionment persevering (probably with some additional distance) and pushing back on certain things will be important for EA to self-correct.
