The procedure how FBS is collected from living calf`s heart is so utterly cruel that I imagine the practice would end if it was shown to public. Unfortunately it is done hidden as usual in animal AG. In which countries that is still legal? What brands use it?
Another thing, I`d love to hear your opinion of the sustainability of Solein by Solar Foods. To my knowledge, that protein can be analogue what ever animal protein, just without hormones etc. harmful substances. As it is high in iron, it might be a sustainable solution to take care of global iron deficiency anemia, too.
