I think we should be careful about how we communicate. Maybe instead of just saying that there is “lots of funding available” we should clarify that we mean that there’s lots of funding available for people who can deliver. That is less likely to draw in vultures.
I haven’t seen very much in terms of mechanisms that ensure funding is only distributed to people who can deliver? And it seems like that’s in opposition to a “hits-based” approach, where many people doing what we want them to do will still come away without having accomplished their goal?
