EA Bristol is inviting you to Study Hall on Saturday morning.
What’s a study hall? It’s an opportunity to use peer pressure and carving out dedicated time to work on whatever project you might be working on/avoiding.
We’ll meet from 10:45, work starts at 11.
Our current meeting place is Bristol Central Library. The ground floor is fairly quiet but you are allowed to talk, there’s usually space for 5-10 people to work together, and the wifi is free (although you will need to register an account with Bristol Library before you can use it (https://www.librarieswest.org.uk/custom/web/registration/)) We will normally do four Pomodoro blocks (25 minutes work, 5 minute break) until 1. Afterwards, we often get coffee/lunch together. Do anything you like in the 5 minute breaks, but it’s encouraged to talk about what you & others are working on or have accomplished.
Feel free to come in late, but don’t interrupt people working. Say hello quickly and grab a seat. This is an ongoing event, we can’t guarantee that a member of EA Bristol that you know will be there.
Rules (well, they’re more like guidelines):
You can study whatever you want, alone or in groups.
