Join us for the second session of the EA Brussels Animal Welfare Discussion Group!
We will be discussing the pros and cons of Animal Charity Evaluators’ (ACE) most recently recommended (and currently evaluated) animal charities.
This discussion will lead us to look at broader questions, including how we can/should evaluate and compare the impact of different charities, which different strategies for animals have which impact.
The aim of this discussion is to be both practical (in terms of potential personal donation or career decisions), while also addressing broader underlying issues. It is also very much related to the topic of our first discussion round on measuring and comparing animals’ moral weight.
The discussion group is open to anyone interested in animal welfare, regardless of dietary preferences and previous knowledge of the cause area. All levels of engagement are welcome.
The suggested reading material is not a must, but will help to facilitate the discussion.
