Thanks very much, Kyle, for starting this thread. I put the penultimate draft of my essay up at PhilPapers.org, for anyone who might be interested in reading Chapter 6, “Diversifying EA Long Shots: An Invitation to Prioritize Black Vegans, Higher Education, and Religious Communities.”
Abstract, keywords, and free download are available here: https://philpapers.org/rec/HALQEA-2 . Please note that the pagination mostly tracks with the published version, but there are limits to my rinky-dink MS-Word formatting efforts to make the penultimate draft (which is slightly different in places) read as much like the published version as possible. :)
Writing this essay was a fun learning experience for me (though I’m sure you’ll see I’m still on the learning curve) and I especially appreciated the always careful, always kind critical feedback I received from members of the EA community including JD Bauman, Caleb Parikh, Dominic Roser, and Zak Weston.
Feedback welcome here but I confess to being old, not very online lively, and more of a reader and a ruminator than a forum commenter. Much gratitude for the opportunity to post!
Update: There was a printing error in the original pdf I posted, which led to pp. 82-83 appearing twice while pp. 84-85 were omitted. I have corrected the error. Apologies to anyone who may have downloaded the incomplete version.
