Dr. Heather Browning is a Lecturer at the University of Southampton. Her primary research interests are animal welfare, ethics, and consciousness. She has done her PhD at ANU on the measurement of animal welfare. Heather has also worked as a zoo keeper and zoo animal welfare officer. Her work has been featured on Vox, she’s done an interview with the BBC recently, among many more places.
