I’ve recently started interning with Charity Entrepreneurship have been reading some key articles that I found really useful to understanding the organisation better and to actually do the work I’ve been doing better, such as:
CE’s research process, and the reasoning behind it.
I’d be curious if other EA organisations have some “must-read” articles that encapsulate the organisation’s approach to doing good—the high level strategy, assumptions about welfare or suffering, perspective on the future, theory of change or anything else.
I’m not from Open Philanthropy but I think their writeup on “Hits-Based Giving” is a must-read article to understand their strategy. I think it’s also useful for those interested in improving how they decide which charities or projects to donate to or make grants to.
I’ve heard of the term before, but I only recently found out about and read this writeup. Reading through the writeup helped me understand and be able to explain it better.
