Priorities research and exploring new cause candidates
Facilitated by Jan L. Gaida

Join for a short introduction into global priorities research and a workshop on how to assess a potential cause candidate in a short time.
I will give a brief overview and present a selection of interesting, rather obscure cause candidates as well as a framework on how to evaluate how promising they are. Then we will discuss, review and rank them in small groups.
The workshop draws from the EA Forum post “Big List of Cause Candidates” by Nuño Sempere and materials from the Centre for Exploratory Altruism Research (CEARCH).
