The “SBF was psychopathic” point is interesting. I wonder if it would be worthwhile to think about “hardening the community against psychopaths” from first principles, without much focus on the FTX situation in particular. Like, if psychopaths are people who try to work any system to their advantage, then a system focused on preventing FTX could still be a system that psychopaths can work to their advantage in some other way.
