I think this would have been more useful to read before attending EAGx Boston this past weekend than any of the other posts that were recommended (though it’s possible that the other posts gave me context important to appreciating this post).
I might add one thing: To me, 30 minutes felt a bit rushed and the best 1x1s I had were the ones where neither of us had something afterwards and tended to naturally wrap up in about 45 minutes. It’s probably not possible to schedule them all like that (and you have no control over other person’s schedule), but you may want to leave an empty space after a few that you feel are particularly important.
