Please RSVP (just click on buttons above, no account or email needed)
Let’s get to know each other (better) and discuss how to solve the world’s most pressing problems and help others effectively.
This time, we’ll meet at Teamwork, Berlin’s EA coworking space!
20:00 Arrivals 20:10 Intro for EA Berlin newcomers (recommended but optional). Everyone else can chat in other rooms. 20:30 Intro round+Speed meetings (recommended but optional) 20:45 Open discussion and networking
We recommend you arrive at 8pm but you can also join later and leave whenever you want, even just popping by for 10min is welcome.
We’ll have some snacks and drinks, and you’re free to bring your own as well if you want.
~~~New people welcome! ~~~
We’re happy to welcome new people, and this event is a good start! If you’re new, I (Severin) am happy to introduce you to the community – just approach me at the event. We’re happy to discuss specific EA-related topics, just note that at this event, we don’t have the capacity for a full introduction to the EA philosophy. For that, we recommend you have a look at these online resources beforehand: www.effectivealtruism.org (EA philosophy & community) www.80000hours.org (impactful careers)
Any questions, feedback or suggestions? Interested in (co-)organising your own events? Just reach out, I’m happy to hear from you!
