It would really suck if this is just a temporary supply/demand imbalance. I could even imagine us having the opposite problem in a few years’ time, if EA organizations grow exponentially and find that the EA talent pool gets used up (due to a mixture of people getting hired and people getting discouraged). After all, only ~3 years ago 80k was emphasizing we should focus more on talent gaps and less on funding gaps, and now we have stories like yours.
