There are usually both official and unofficial group chats (on WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, etc.) There might also be Instagram pages, or an active Subreddit for that school. I imagine some schools have internal platforms or forums. Some schools are unusual in that you can get the emails of all students or spam an entire listserv.
