if I could offer a thought experiment, proposed by an interesting philosopher: What is the smallest change in climate, or one-off event, some minor hiccup, that could lead to the destruction of human civilization because of humanity’s response to it?
Under the narrowest idea of “could”, virtually any disruption in food or water supply could cause it, especially in nuclear conflict zones like India-Pakistan or South Korea-North Korea. But what seems more likely to cause it would be a much larger event.
