I’m vegan, have been for years, donate to animal charities, have volunteered at local shelters, but do not tend to engage with street level activism, as a lot of my encounters with animals rights/vegan activists in the UK have been outright off-putting. I would often come away thinking “if you can’t convince me, who on earth is this working on?”
