perspective on what has and hasn’t worked well for EA in the past
general maturity and accumulated experience that can help you mentor EAs who might want help with general life skills or general professional skills
a sense of gravitas and reliability that could suit you for joining a board of directors or board of advisors or otherwise representing EA to the outside world.
Have you checked with a nearby local EA group if they have younger people looking for mentors? I find that sometimes the youthful optimism energizes me too—like going to church!
According to the Meta Coordination Forum (2024) these kinds of skills will be the most valuable to recruit for across the EA movement. So if you do have some work experience in this area, you could potentially make a very big impact by working for good.

Yeah, those are somewhat reasonable. I guess then the question becomes: how to actually deploy those?
