I don’t know who to request here, but I’m looking for thinkers focused specifically on how/why/when we take control of the pace of the knowledge explosion.
It sounds like Bostrom has some thoughts in that direction, which is great. Will investigate further.
My personal preference however would be a speaker who sweeps all the other related topics such as AI off the table to focus directly on the knowledge explosion itself. Not the many details of the many particular technologies emerging from the knowledge explosion, the knowledge explosion itself, the machinery generating all the threats. Imho, the tidal wave of details being explored extensively here and elsewhere is obscuring the bottom line.
