I am new here and also new in the ideas of effective altruism. I read some articles about it and I feel this community is doing something very meaningful. I want to help in a way that really make impact, but I feel a bit confused where to start.
Sometimes I think maybe I should focus on donating small part of my income, but other time I feel maybe it is better to give my time or learn some skill that can help in long run. I don’t have much experience, but I have motivation to do something useful, and I am also learning about construction estimation which I hope can become a useful skill in future.
If anyone can share how you started your journey in EA, or what small steps are good for a beginner like me, it will be very helpful. I just want to understand how to be part of this in real way, not only reading about it. Thank you for reading, and I hope to learn from all of you.
