I’m so glad to see that someone is focusing on this. Several top managers havefloated the possibility/consideration that community-building might have been somewhat less valuable than they thought. This research is highly relevant, right now; if the EA’s growth rate ends up refocused on specific directions, instead of maximizing just the number of people, it makes sense to put serious consideration into STEM communities.
