Higson are a people development consultancy which help individuals to perform, communicate and lead. Our mission is to create a lasting positive impact, and each year we donate 20% of our profits to our partner charities, Cool Earth and Free to Be Kids.
Every year, Higson deliver a pro bono core skills training programme that helps people across many aspects of life such as building resilience, boosting productivity, improving self management, preventing burnout and achieving goals. The programme includes five virtual, engaging and interactive workshops, with supportive one-to-one mentoring sessions to focus on one’s personal development.
This Higson Foundation programme is designed for individuals who would benefit from the extra development and would not otherwise have access to this type of opportunity. Therefore, this programme is open to individuals over the age of 18 who either work for, or are supported by, a charity. For example, this training programme could be ideal if you work at a non-profit and are seeking to enhance your core skill set and maximise your positive impact within your team.
The programme starts in January and is run virtually. At the end of the programme, graduates will receive a certificate of completion and be invited to a celebratory graduation ceremony!
Here is a quote from Mohammad who attended the programme: “I was really excited to have a place on the programme as it’s really beneficial, it really helped me a lot in developing my skills and improving myself as a person. I am learning how to become more confident, think in a better way, manage my time, and take care of my health for continuous success in the future. The workshops are priceless and the mentoring sessions are extraordinary, I recommend anyone to join this programme.”
If you think you would benefit from this training programme, we would encourage you to apply! Additionally, feel free to share this opportunity with others who you think may be interested and eligible.
