It sounds as if you’re dismissing the entire body of writing by e.g. Stuart Russell as not being serious analysis, and I also don’t see it prominently cited or addressed in you piece even though you describe it as a “review”. I think you’d find it quite interesting to have a conversation with him.
Sorry, I worded that poorly—my point was the lack of comprehensive weighing of pros and cons, as opposed to analyzing just 1 or 2 particular problems (e.g. swarm terrorism risk).
