I just loved this interesting take on “On caring”, and the excerpt from the text gave me chills.
“I shall seek everlasting pleasure, free of pain. I shall know my limits; I cannot redeem the world. Yet, I will do what I can, as the world needs compassion. Without any borders, without any permanence, without any inherent duty. I am the master of my cares and care-nots.”
