I think we should care about subjective or objective time or anything in-between only insofar as it conforms or conflicts with preferences of persons who are affected by it. Like, i personally care about subjective and objective time both, because i care about my state and state of the world, such that it would be bad if i missed some time to change it. And it all depends on the exact preference of the person in that situation. So, maybe instead of researching correlates of preference maybe we are better off researching how the concrete preferences of concrete persons connect with such situations.
