👋 Hey, we are the university group Effective Altruism Freiburg. Effective Altruism is the search for the best ways to solve global problems and putting these approaches into practice (as you might have heard before).
🌍 Our group is the first point of contact for people who want to become part of this now global movement. We deal with topics such as global health, positive psychology, animal welfare and risks of advanced artificial intelligence.
💬 As a local group, we organize talks, workshops and reading groups and investigate how we can make a concrete difference with our lives.
🌱Curious? Come to our intro meetup! We will start out by giving a general introduction to EA, then move on to Q&A and discussions and then we could play some speedfriending games, depending on the vibes :)
