The court has already appointed a liquidation trustee whose mission is preserving assets and does not include working with EA. Its unclear to me whether the trustee is in control of the FTX Foundation now, but the statement did say related entities. The FTX principals are doubtless preoccupied and are presumably attuned enough to legal exposure to not be having unnecessary conversations.
