Has anyone done any research on the wildfires in Canada from summer 2023 or know any research done about it? I’m asking because I’m investigating what can be done to prevent it from happening again in the best way possible, if anything needs to be done, and how to do it.

Update: I think I heard from the NYT (a while back) that there’s a 1⁄20 chance something similar happens to what happened in 2023 on any given year, but I haven’t tried to find the link. (this is not new information.)
