Learn some CBT!

You keep hearing about how great cognitive-behavioral therapy is, but what does it actually involve? Can learning some key CBT skills improve your life? Sign up here in 1 minute for a 2-hour CBT workshop next week. Spaces are limited. The only thing we ask of you in return: lots of feedback to improve our sessions!

What will the workshops cover?

  • Sunday July 9: Introduction: Defining CBT and using it to understand your own challenges

  • Thursday July 13: Emotions: Riding the wave

  • Friday July 14: Cognitions: Shifting your perspective

You can sign up for just one workshop or as many as you want. All workshops will take place via Zoom at

  • 9:30-11:30 am PDT

  • 12:30-2:30 pm EDT

  • 5:30-7:30 pm BST

  • 6:30-8:30 pm CEST.

Why are we doing this?

Rethink Wellbeing is in the last stages of developing an 8-week peer-facilitated online CBT program for improving mental well-being among EAs, and we want your input! These workshops are pilot tests to get feedback on the content and the facilitation process, as well as to identify any unknown failure modes.

So your feedback will help the community, and you could learn some things that will benefit your mental health—but for these pilots, satisfaction is not guaranteed. 😉

Who can attend?

Anyone can attend, and we are especially interested in hearing from people with very little experience with CBT, and from professionals with expertise. You do not need to be facing any particular mental health challenge, though it’s fine if you are.

What if I can’t make it, but I’m still curious?

You have a few options:

  • Sign up to be notified in case we run any more pilot sessions

  • Give us feedback on the written program materials (you choose your time commitment; could be as little as 1 hour or as long as you want!)

  • Sign up to be notified when we open applications for the 8-week program itself
