Association for Long Term Existence and Resilience (ALTER) is an academic research and advocacy organization based in Israel focused on improving the short- and long-term future.

Funding

As of July 2022, ALTER has received $423,000 in funding from the Survival and Flourishing Fund[1][2], $320,000 from the Future Fund[3] most of which was returned, $316,900 from Lighspeed Grants[2] directed to Learning Theoretic AI, and over $150,000 from Effective Altruism Funds.[4][5][6][7]
