The Charter Cities Institute (CCI, formerly the Center for Innovative Governance Research) is a nonprofit organization that promotes the creation of charter cities. CCI’s activities include producing popular content, publishing academic research, and providing technical assistance to governments and companies. CCI was founded in 2017.
Funding
As of June 2022, CCI has received over $500,000 in funding from the Survival and Flourishing Fund.[1][2][3][4] It has also received funding from Tyler Cowen’s Emergent Ventures[5] and from Vitalik Buterin.[6]
